Hardware Features Hardware features include tongue buckles in the legs, a pull-on chest buckle, a parachute-type torso buckle, and side and back D-rings. The dorsal D-ring provides an attachment point for general fall arrest and is included on all 3M Protecta® Construction Comfort Harness models. Side D-rings on the hips are used to attach positioning devices to allow workers to use both hands. Compliance with Standards and Regulations 3M Protecta® Fall Protection Harnesses are designed for a maximum capacity of 190 kg (420 lb), including the worker's body weight, clothing, tools and other accessories. These fall arrest systems meet OSHA 1910.140 and 1926.502 requirements. Fall Protection Basics and OSHA Regulations Fall hazards pose a significant risk of serious injury or death to people who work at height. OSHA has established safety standards that help increase the safety of employees whose jobs require working at heights. A personal fall protection system is essential for the safety of workers at height. Personal fall protection systems that meet OSHA standards generally include four components: Anchorages, as defined by OSHA, consist of fall arrest attachment points for securing lanyards, lanyards or deceleration devices and are designed to remain attached under the forces generated during a fall. Anchors vary by industry, job, as well as type of installation and structure. Body support refers to fall protection equipment that directly supports the weight of the worker and keeps the body in a safe position. Worker comfort, fit and ease of use are important considerations when selecting body support equipment – ​​such as a full body harness – that a worker may be required to wear for extended periods during of a working day. Full body harnesses evenly distribute the arresting force in the event of a fall across the shoulders, thighs, chest and pelvis. Fall protection harnesses have a dorsal D-ring for attachment to a connector (such as a lanyard) and may have other D-rings to use for worker positioning, movement restriction, extracting or climbing ladders. They are the only acceptable form of body support for fall arrest. Connecting devices are used to attach the worker's harness to the anchorage. The types vary according to the needs of the worker; they are different if the worker must have an attachment point for the fall arrest system or for positioning and movement restriction. Employers must have a descent and rescue plan that allows workers to be rescued quickly in the event of a fall or that ensures workers can rescue themselves. DELIVERY POLICY

If you are not satisfied with the products ordered after receiving them, for any reason (Ex: if the color or size does not suit you), and if you wish to return the products and obtain a refund or a replacement, you have a period of 30 days from the date of delivery of your products. All returned items must be unused, in their original packaging and in resalable condition. You can submit your return request using our ''Return / Exchange Request'' portal. Once your request has been approved, a prepaid Purolator packing slip will be emailed to you. All you have to do is print it out and affix it to your box. You can then drop off the package at the Purolator dealer closest to you.

We will bear the return costs for the following situations:

If there is an error in your order.
If you received a defective item.
If you wish to exchange sizes on an order of boots or shoes (For the first exchange only).

You will have to assume a return fee of $15.00 per package for the following situations:

You wish to return a non-defective item and obtain a refund. In such a case, we will deduct these costs from your refund.
You wish to proceed with a size exchange on any item other than boots or shoes.
You want to make a second size exchange on an order of boots or shoes (The return costs of the first size exchange are at our expense). In such a case, you must pay these charges before we ship your replacement.

We will refund the full amount you paid for the returned products, less the shipping costs of the original order, less the shipping costs of the prepaid packing slip that will be sent to you based on the reason for your return.

We may apply a deduction to the amount refunded in the event of loss of value of the products if you handle them unnecessarily, beyond what is necessary to determine their nature and their characteristics. We reserve the right to refuse a return if we deem the item does not meet our criteria for merchandise in re-saleable condition.

If you return an item to us that is not in NEW condition and does not meet our policies, you will be required to pay the freight charges to get your item back. You have the choice of receiving your refund by the original payment method or as a replacement.

All returns must be sent to the specified fulfillment center, which is the location from which your products were shipped to you.

Please note that in order for us to be able to process your return, we must receive the items within the specified 60 day time frame. You must therefore take into account the time it takes for the carrier to get your items to our distribution center.

Your Legal Rights: Please note that our Returns Policy is in addition to your legal right to cancel your entire order under the laws applicable to your jurisdiction. You must return all items in the canceled order to us within the prescribed time from the date you notify us of your wish to cancel your order. We will refund the full amount you paid for your order within the prescribed period from the date we receive the returned products. We may apply a deduction to the amount refunded in the event of loss of value of the products if you handle them unnecessarily, beyond what is necessary to determine their nature and their characteristics.

WARRANTY FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS If the product(s) you have purchased are damaged or have other defects in material or workmanship, please contact us by phone or email. Please note that this warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, intentional damage, abnormal storage, alterations, repairs, misuse, or any improper or unreasonable use. For defective products, we have the choice of offering you a refund, repairing the defective products or sending you replacement products free of charge.

If you believe in good faith that the RIOBEC shoes you have purchased are defective in materials and workmanship within 6 months from the date of purchase, please email Customer Service at RIOBEC at web@riobec.ca indicating the following information: (a) order number (in the subject line), (b) concise description of the problem, (c) photographs of the product, (d) address of delivery for repaired or replacement products, and (e) proof of purchase (required). Most of our boots and shoes are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 6 MONTHS.

If you purchased the products directly from a retailer, please contact them for more specific information on any warranties they may offer you.

Please note that our warranty for defective products does not replace any rights you have under the laws applicable to your jurisdiction, nor any rights you have under those laws.
